I'm Tish. And I started this site because I got tired of AI advice that didn't apply to my actual life.
When generative AI first became a big deal, I tried to learn how to use it. But everything I found online fell into two categories: technical documentation for software engineers, or hustle-culture threads promising "$10k a month with 5 ChatGPT prompts."
I didn't want to code an app. I didn't want to start a drop-shipping business. I just wanted to know if this technology could help me figure out what to make for dinner, how to negotiate my salary, or the best way to use my credit card points for a family trip.
The Real-Life AI Experiment
So I started experimenting. I treated AI like a really knowledgeable (but sometimes overconfident) assistant for normal, everyday problems. I used it to plan an international trip when I was overwhelmed by hotel options. I used it to prepare for a job interview. I used it to figure out why my bathroom sink was making a weird noise before calling a plumber.
What I discovered is that AI is incredibly powerful for reducing mental load — if you know how to talk to it. The problem isn't the technology. The problem is that no one is teaching normal people how to use it for normal things.
What to expect here
I believe AI is a tool that should make life easier, not more complicated. If you're looking for practical ways to use it to save time, save money, or just carry a little less mental load — you're in the right place.
