Editorial Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Why this policy exists

Tish Talks AI publishes practical articles, tools, prompts, comparisons, and personal experiments designed to help everyday people use AI more confidently in real life.

This Editorial Policy explains how content is researched, created, reviewed, updated, and monetized. The goal is to be transparent about what readers can expect from the site.

My editorial approach

I focus on practical usefulness over hype.

Content is created to help readers understand what an AI tool can realistically do, where it may fall short, and whether it is worth their time or money.

I do not present myself as an AI engineer or claim expertise I do not have. I write from the perspective of a real user who tests, researches, compares, and documents what works in everyday life.

Personal testing and research

Recommendations may be based on:

  • my personal use of a tool, product, or service
  • hands-on testing completed specifically for an article or resource
  • research using official product documentation, reputable sources, demonstrations, and user feedback
  • a combination of personal experience and outside research

When I have personally used or tested something, I will make that clear.

When a conclusion is based primarily on research rather than direct use, I will say so whenever that distinction is important.

Use of artificial intelligence

AI tools may assist with parts of the editorial process, including:

  • brainstorming
  • outlining
  • research organization
  • comparison tables
  • editing
  • formatting
  • technical implementation
  • identifying questions readers may have

AI-generated information is not automatically treated as accurate.

Content intended for publication is reviewed and shaped by a human before it is published. I remain responsible for the final wording, opinions, recommendations, and corrections.

Accuracy and updates

AI products, pricing, features, policies, and availability can change quickly.

I make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate at the time of publication and may update articles when:

  • a major feature changes
  • pricing changes
  • a recommendation is no longer accurate
  • a tool is discontinued
  • a factual error is discovered
  • new testing changes my opinion

Publication and update dates may appear on articles so readers can judge how current the information is.

I cannot guarantee that every page will always reflect the most recent product change immediately.

Reviews and recommendations

Reviews and recommendations are based on usefulness, value, limitations, accessibility, and relevance to the intended reader.

A product does not receive a positive recommendation simply because it has an affiliate program or paid partnership.

I may recommend a product I have personally used, one I have thoroughly researched, or one I would seriously consider using based on the available evidence. The basis of the recommendation should be clear from the surrounding article.

Affiliate relationships

Some pages may contain affiliate links.

If a reader clicks one of these links and makes a purchase or signs up, Tish Talks AI may receive a commission at no additional cost to the reader.

Affiliate relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Articles containing affiliate links should include an appropriate disclosure, and qualifying links should use the proper sponsored or nofollow attributes.

See the Affiliate Disclosure for additional details.

Sponsored content

Sponsored articles, partnerships, or paid placements will be clearly identified.

Payment does not guarantee a positive review or prevent honest discussion of limitations.

I will not knowingly publish a recommendation that I believe is misleading or unsuitable simply because a company paid for placement.

Corrections

If I discover a meaningful factual error, I will correct it as soon as reasonably possible.

Readers may report possible errors by emailing: hello@tishtips.com

Please include the page title or URL and a brief explanation of the issue.

Independence and transparency

Tish Talks AI exists to provide honest, useful information for real people trying to make better decisions with AI.

The standard is simple:

  • say what was personally tested
  • say what was researched
  • disclose financial relationships
  • correct meaningful mistakes
  • avoid pretending certainty where certainty does not exist

Trust matters more than forcing a recommendation.
